WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - Competing for the first time in the history of the program, the Emerson College men's cross country team placed 33rd in the NCAA Division III New England Regional Championship hosted by Williams College.  Forty-nine teams competed in the event.

The Lions were led by Kyle Oppenheimer '13 (Kingston, N.H.)) who finished 142nd of the 333 runners in the meet.  Oppenheimer covered the 8K course in 28:34.9.

 Emerson finished third among the Great Northeast Athletic Conference teams that competed in the championship.
