Alexandra Magistro hits the circle again this season for her second year in the Purple & Gold where she’ll look to eat up innings for the Lions after a 2011 season which saw her start 14 games and compiled a 9-2 record on the year. In her 16 appearances, Magistro put up four complete games and two shutouts while putting up a 2.81 ERA in 69.7 innings pitched. Keeping opponents off pace, Alex only allowed 28 earned runs on the season while striking out 71 victims en route to a stellar freshman year.

A 2010 graduate of Blair Academy, Alexandra lettered four times for the Blair Bucs who’s squad she captained in 2009 and 2010. While repping Blairstown, Magistro racked up the awards where she was named First Team All-MAPL in 2009 & 2010, Second Team All-MAPL in 2007 & 2008, First Team All-State 2009 & 2010, and Second Team All-State in 2008. Her most exciting moment in sports also came in high school as well when her team won states for the first time in 10 years.

The VMA Screenwriting major was born on March 22, 1992 in Dover, NJ to Phillip (Pharmaceutical VP) and Janet (Gymnastics Instructor) Magistro of Hackettstown, NJ and her full name is Alexandra Nicole Magistro.
