• Game 6: Winner of Game 4 @ #2 St. Joseph's Maine- 4:00 pm

Saturday, April 28^th – Semifinals Hosted by #1 Emerson at Gordon College

• Game 7: Loser of Game 4 vs. Loser of Game 5- Gordon College, 10:00 am
• Game 8: Loser of Game 3 vs. Loser of Game 6- Gordon College, 12:00 pm
• Game 9: Winner of Game 5 vs. Winner of Game 6- Gordon College, 2:00pm
• Game 10: Winner of Game 7 vs. Winner of Game 8- Gordon College, 4:00pm

Sunday, April 29^th  – Championship Hosted by #1 Emerson at Gordon College

• Game 11: Winner of Game 10 vs. Loser of Game 9- Gordon College, 11:00am
• Game 12: Winner of Game 11 vs. Winner of Game 9- Gordon College, 1:00pm
• Game 13: If necessary - Gordon College, 3:00pm

Umpires:                     Eastern College Athletic Conference assigned. Three-umpire system.

Protocol:                                                                    

• All games will be seven innings with the fifth inning, eight-run mercy rule in effect. 
• If a game is tied after seven full innings of play, the top of the eighth inning will begin with a runner on second base and this procedure will continue until one team has more total runs following a completed inning.

 

• There will be a minimum of 25 minutes between games.
• Home Team through the first six games will be the higher seed.  Subsequently the home teams will be

            determined by the  NCAA Rules* which states that:

• The designated home team will be the institution that has been the home team the fewest times.
• If two teams have been the home team an equal number of times but visiting team an unequal number of times, the team that has been the visitor most often shall be the home team.
• If two teams have been both home team and visiting team an equal number of times and if the teams have previously met, the visitor in the initial game shall be the home team in the second game
• If two team have been both the home team and the visiting team an equal number of times, the team that was the visitor in its preceding game shall be the home team, unless both teams were the visitor in their preceding games.
• If the preceding formula does not prevail, the home team shall be determined by a coin flip.
• No exceptions. The home team will bat last, occupy the third base dugout, and take the infield    

            warm-up first.

• Full, teams introduced only before your first game of the day, starters only after that.

 

Athletic Training:       A certified athletic trainer will be present for all games.  Each team    should bring its own supplies.

                                    Modalities will not be available.

Sports Information:   Full sports information services will be provided. In-game Stat Crew will be used with packed files e-mailed to institutions after the completion of each game. The sports information office of each participating team is asked to send an e-mail contact list for sending results.

Awards:                      There will be an All-tournament team selected and a Most Valuable player named at the conclusion of the final game.  Eleven individuals will be selected.  Each team's coach will choose the players from his/her team that he/she wants selected. The number of selections is calculated by final tournament standings.

Warm-up Area:         The designated warm-up area will be along the back of the Bennett Center on Friday and the Gordon College baseball field on Saturday and Sunday.

Seating:                       There are no bleachers.  Spectators are encouraged to bring their own chairs.

Parking:                      Limited parking is available next to the Bennett Athletic and Recreation Center.  Further parking is available directly across the street from the Bennett Center and at the Brigham Athletic Complex lot off Hull Road (first left off Grapevine Road).  Participating teams may want to drop equipment at the field (directly adjacent to Hull Road) and proceed to parking.

 

Directions to Gordon:            From Points West:

• Take an east-bound highway (e.g., Mass Turnpike, Route 90) to Route 95 North
• Stay on Route 95 North until it separates from Route 128
• Take Route 128 North towards Gloucester, passing through Peabody, Danvers and Beverly
• Take Exit 17, Grapevine Road
• Turn left at end of ramp, going 0.6 mile to main entrance

From Points North:

• Take Route 95 South to Route 128 North
• Remain on Route 128 North, passing through Peabody, Danvers and Beverly
• Take Exit 17, Grapevine Road
• Turn left at end of ramp, going 0.6 mile to main entrance

From Points South:

• Stay on Route 95 North until it separates from Route 128.
• Take Route 128 North towards Gloucester, passing through Peabody, Danvers and Beverly
• Take Exit 17, Grapevine Road
• Turn left at end of ramp, going 0.6 mile to main entrance
