Lions junior Jess Frost was named to the 2017 New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference Second Team, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning. Frost finished this season with five goals, three assists, and 13 points.
Lions junior forward Jess Frost (Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.) made her first goal of the season count for more than just a game-winning goal as she has also been named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference by the conference office for the week ending on Sept. 24. It's Frost's first time claiming the weekly honor in her two-plus seasons on the Lions roster.
After the Emerson women’s soccer team made their way into the win column with a 4-2 win over NEWMAC foe, Mount Holyoke, this past Saturday afternoon, the Lions look to continue its winning ways with a pair of games against Trinity (Conn.) and Springfield. Emerson remains at home on Tuesday, Sept. 19 with a non-conference contest against Trinity (Conn.) at 6:30 p.m. before they head off to Springfield in a NEWMAC tilt at 12:00 p.m.

The Emerson women’s soccer team officially reported to pre-season camp this week in beautiful Southern California to prepare for the 2017 season. In addition to high-level scrimmages against perennial NCAA playoff team, Claremont McKenna, and a tough University of Redlands squad, Emerson’s 10-day California tour has already taken the women to the Emerson LA campus in Hollywood, the beaches of Palos Verdes and paddle boarding in San Diego.
