BOSTON, Mass. - We have officially flipped the calendar to a new year for Emerson men’s basketball, who enter the 2019-20 season as the defending NEWMAC champions. The Lions kicked off its home 2019 campaign with a commanding 99-69 win over Worcester State Saturday night. Tuesday has the Lions out at Gordon at 7:00 p.m. before they wrap the week at home hosting Tufts at 1:00 p.m.

Women's Volleyball Defeats No. 2 Wellesley In Semifinals; Advances To NEWMAC Championship For First Time In Program History
The Emerson Women’s Volleyball team staved off match point in the fourth set to defeat the No. 2 seed Wellesley Blue 3-2 in five sets in the NEWMAC Semifinals. Logan Steenbergen (Glenview, Ill.) led the Lions with 13 kills and six blocks. The Lions will take part in the NEWMAC Championship for the first time in program history when they travel to Babson College to take on the No. 1 seeded Beavers on Saturday, November 9th at 2:00pm.
The Emerson Women's Volleyball Team returns to action following their NEWMAC Quaterfinal victory over the MIT Engineers on Tuesday night. The Lions will take on the Wellesley Blue at 7:00pm in Wellesley, looking to earn a berth to the NEWMAC Championship game.
