HOW IT HAPPENED
4": The Lions wasted no time at all getting onto the board a mere four minutes into the opening half. On a corner kick by freshman Luc Fougere (Chicago, Ill.), Boamah was able to get on top of the pass and knock in the 1-0 goal for the visitors.
36": Emerson was able to find the back of the net again in the first half, this time on an unassisted net from the foot of Dzieijma as the Lions extended its lead to 2-0.
