Men’s Tennis Takes Down Gordon In Hard Fought Match

The Emerson Men's Tennis team defeated Gordon on Friday 5-4.  Nicolai Dalmau and Keaton Watlington took down Ezekiel Hall and Jonathan Frink 8-6 in the top doubles pairing.  The Lions won the other two doubles pairings due to retirements from the Gordon Doubles Pairs.

Maximo Lawlor led the Lions in singles, winning the first pairing 7-6, 7-5.  Dalmau won the third singles pairing 6-1, 6-2.  Alex Naim won the fourth pairing 6-2, 6-1 which gave Lions the five victories needed for the match win.  Emerson gets back in action next weekend when they take part in the ITA tournament starting on Friday, September 27th.
