The Emerson Men's and Women's Cross Country Teams closed out their seasons at the Division III Northeast Regionals hosted by Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. The Women's Team placed 46th overall in the 6K race on Saturday. Emerson was paced by Senior Chelsea Swift, who ran a 24:54.5 and came in 176th overall. Sophomore Madison Lynch was just under a minute behind Swift with a time of 25:51.7 and a 237 overall finish. Jessica Mann, Taylor Ranney, and Jeannette Mooney all finished within five seconds of each other in 298, 299, and 300th overall respectively. Mann ran a 27:08.5, Ranney finished with a 27:10.9 and Mooney finished with a 27:12.6. Sara Crocco and Caroyln Mooney rounded out the Emerson runners with 363 and 374 place finishes. Crocco finished with a time of 30:01.9 and Mooney had a 31:36.4.
The Men's team placed 54th out of 58 teams in Brunsiwck. Joey MacNeil led the Lions with a 248th place finish and a time of 29:47.0 in the 8K race. Phillipe Legagneur finished 313th with a time of 31:32.6. Sophomore Kevin Serrano finished with a time of 32:25.3 and a 332 overall place. Michael Cerullo was close behind Serrano with a time of 33:58.3 and a 360th finish. Tyler Ericson rounded out the Emerson runners with a 34:33.7 time and a 369th overall finish.
