LEADING LIONS

  • Marisa DeFranco (Great Falls, Va.) leads the Lions with 35 hits in 91 at bats, good for a .385 batting average.  She has a .456 on base percentage and a .462 slugging percentage.
  • Kallista Leonardos (El Granada, Calif.)  and Lindsey Lowe (Porter Ranch, Calif.) are tied for the lead in RBIs on the team with 26 a piece.  The players are tied for third in the NEWMAC in RBIs. Leonardos has 30 hits while Lowe has 28 hits.
  • Leonardos has hit six home runs on the year, good for second in the conference.
  • Neely Eddleston (West Wareham, Mass.) leads the Lions with seven wins while Karagan Knowles (Tucson, Ariz.) has 5.

SCOUTING THE RAMS

  • Senior Jaclyn Flint leads the rams with 28 hits while Freshman Caitlin Murphy and sophomore Grace Boehler have 27 and 25 respectively.
  • Flint leads the Rams in runs batter in with 16.  Boehler is fourth on the team with 11.
  • Kennedy Reyes has a 5-3 roed in eight starts and 14 appearances.  She has struck out 32 batters on the season, averting 4.31 per seven innings.

SCOUTING THE BLUE

  • Emerson and Wellesley played game one of their double header earlier in the season, with the Lions defeating the Blue 8-6.
  • Gen Brittingham leads the Blue with 33 hits, 11 of which have been doubles.  She has one triple, one home run, and 20 RBIs.
  • Kendall Smith has 28 hits and six doubles with two home runs.
  • Sydney Hopper has earned four wins for the Blue, striking out 3.12 batters per seven innings.

SCOUTING THE COUGARS

  • JC Urella has 34 hits for the Cougars entering the week with eight doubles, one triple and 20 RBIs. She has a .420 batting average and a .543 slugging percentage.
  • Kristina Kopacs has 21 hits and 20 runs scored.
  • Sarah Woods is the leading pitcher on the staff, earning 10 wins and only two losses in 12 appearances.
  • Taylor Erickson also has a strong record with and 8-3 record in 11 appearances.

SCOUTING THE LYONS

  • Jade Assad has 32 hits in 93 at bats, with seven doubles and five home runs.  She has drove in 19 runs and stolen four bases.
  • Katelyn Barton has 24 hits with four doubles and two home runs, driving in 17 runs.
  • Shelbi Wilson and Sarah Pritchard lead the staff, with both pitchers earning nine wins.
