    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Senior Natalie Busch (Weybridge, England) paced the Emerson women’s basketball team with 18 points followed by double digit showings from junior Quinn Madden (Mokena, Ill.) and sophomore Ashley Toner (Barnegat, N.J.), but the No. 5 Lions were topped 76-58 by the No. 4 MIT Engineers in the NEWMAC Quarterfinals on Tuesday night.

    SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. - Junior Natalie Clydesdale (Pittsburgh, Penn.) paced the Emerson women’s basketball team with 10 points as all 10 players on the stat sheet recorded at least six points in the Lions’ 75-35 regular season finale win over Mount Holyoke on Saturday afternoon. The win caps a six game win streak and officially punches a ticket to the postseason for the second straight season.

    BOSTON, Mass. - It took three overtimes and 36 points from senior Charlie Boyle (Scotts Valley, Calif.) and a season high 20 points from junior Kate Foultz (Thousand Oaks, Calif.) to take down Springfield in a hard fought 89-84 NEWMAC victory, marking the third consecutive win and first win over the Pride in program history.

    BOSTON, Mass. - Junior Quinn Madden (Mokena, Ill.) anchored the Emerson women’s basketball team with a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds followed by two more double digit efforts from senior Charlie Boyle and sophomore Sam Boyle (Scotts Valley, Calif.) to push the Lions past Babson, 66-52, for the first time since 2014 in NEWMAC play. The win also breaks the Beavers’ 15 game winning streak.
