  • Tara Windsor (Palm City, Fla.) netted a hat-trick for the Lions with three goals on four shots.
  • Kelli Mark (Hermosa Beach, Fla.) scored two goals for the Lions while Junior Jenna Tomsky (Clinton, N.J.) had one.
  • Camille Mumford (Yardley, Penn.) added two assists on six of the goals scored by Emerson.
  • Dacia Persky paced the Blue with five goals herself.
  • Kristina Modica made 19 saves on 31 shots faced, while Chloe Tucker made seven saves on 13 shots faced.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • For the first 15 minutes of the game, the Lions and Blue traded goals.
  • Mark, Windsor, and Tomski each scored one goal to give the Lions a 3-2 lead.
  • Wellesley went on a 5-0 run before the Lions grabbed one back, through Windsor, bringing the score to 7-4.
  • After a goal by the Blue, Mark and Windsor scored back to back goals, bringing the Lions deficit to two.
  • Wellesley closed the game on a four goal run, bringing the finals core to 12-6.
