BOSTON -The Emerson Women's Soccer Team has released it's 2018 regular season schedule! The Lions will have 10 games away from home and 7 at the newly renovated Rotch Field, bringing their total to 17.
Their first test of the season will be against crosstown rivals Emmanuel College, as the Lions will travel to take on the Saints on August 31st at 1:00pm. After taking their talents to Regis College on Sunday September 2nd, the Lions will have two straight home games vs Tufts and Wesleyan on September 5th and 8th respectively.
After their first two home matches of the year, the Lions will play five out of six games away from Rotch Field to close out the month of September. The team will travel to take on Wentworth on September 12th, Mt. Holyoke College on September 15th and Trinity on September 19th. The Lions will be home against Springfield on September 22nd before traveling to Lesley and Sage on the 25th and 19th of September to close out the month.
In the month of October, the Lions will continue with three of four matches away from home. They will start with three NEWMAC matchups. They travel to Smith on Tuesday, October second before welcoming WPI to Rotch Field on the 6th. They will then travel to take on Wheaton on October ninth and Wellesley on October 13th away from home. The Lions will close out their home schedule with three NEWMAC matchups in seven days, starting with Coast Guard Academy on Tuesday, October 16th. They will take on Babson College on October 20th, which will double as senior day. Their last home match of the year will be against Clark University on Tuesday, October 23rd. The last regular season match will be against MIT on Saturday, October 27th.
The NEWMAC Women's Soccer First Round of postseason will start on Tuesday, October 30th.
