HOW IT HAPPENED

33" (EMERSON):  The Lions retained game possession and freshman Sage Stack (Santa Rosa, Calif.) found herself open in the middle and her shot forced the Barbagallo into the diving save to her right. The rebound bounced around and eventually made its way to MacQuarrie, who made a centering pass to Alberts and chipped the ball in for the game's first goal.
