BOSTON, Mass. - Out with the regular season, on to November postseason play. After dropping a 1-0 decision to No. 6 MIT in its regular season finale, the Emerson women's soccer team locked up the No. 5 seed in the NEWMAC Tournament and heads off to No. 4 Springfield tonight for the quarterfinal round at 7:00 p.m. 


A LOOK BACK 

  • The closing week of the regular season for Emerson started out at Clark where a first half goal by sophomore Grace Cosgrove (Sherman Oaks, Calif.) gave the Lions an early lead only to see it be erased by an equalizer in the 52nd minute and the eventual 103rd minute double overtime game winner.
  • It was senior day on Saturday with Mallory Hanson and Veronica Alberts being recognized before its matchup with No. 6 MIT and would battle out to a 1-0 setback to the Engineers
