The Lions head to Hartford on Wednesday night for a 5:30 contest and return home for a Saturday afternoon meeting at 1:00 p.m. with Springfield.

This week sees the Lions back on its home turf for non conference matchups, starting with Tufts on Wednesday night at 6:00 p.m. and close the weekend on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. against Wesleyan (Conn.).
Each class was represented in the goal column as the Emerson women’s soccer team saw nets from five different Lions including seniors Paige Haley (San Diego, Calif.) and Jess Frost (Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.) junior Mallory Hanson (Plymouth, Mass.), sophomore Amanda Benavente (Boca Raton, Fla.) and freshman Grace Cosgrove (Sherman Oaks, Calif.) to lock down a 5-0 shutout win over Regis (Mass.) on Sunday night in women’s soccer action.
With three minutes remaining in overtime, it was senior Jess Frost’s (Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.) 97th minute net that sent the Emerson women’s soccer team home with a season opening 2-1 victory over Emmanuel (Mass.) on Friday night in non-conference women’s soccer play. The win also counted as the first season opening win for Emerson since 2016.
Lions junior Jess Frost was named to the 2017 New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference Second Team, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning. Frost finished this season with five goals, three assists, and 13 points.
